Life beyond the un checked Checklist!

Back then while we were ending 2025 I sat with myself and looked back at what I achieved and in that moment I didn't see any grand thing that I achieved in 2025 aside from Graduation. It took me far because I went mad at myself wondering how could a year this long end like this... a lot on my annual list was unchecked. But a few days ago while I was preparing for my birthday... I looked back at the memories (Photos & videos) that I took for the past whole year and I realized I achieved a lot! 

Only because most of them were not written in my annual target, the enemy tried to trick me to thinking I achieved less (God did less) ... 

But now I'm grateful for what the Lord has done for me, my family and my friends (because we're in this together 😂), I'm grateful for my relationship with the lord, I learnt to hear his voice clearly and obey it (though it wasn't easy & I'm still on this journey 🤦), I'm grateful for all the people who came in my life the past year  & those who left (people come and go🤷), I'm grateful for the lessons I learnt (patience, work experience😭, putting me first, and many more...), I'm grateful for every moment that made my year colorful (family gatherings, trips, dinner dates, movie nights, outings, thoughtful gifts, Repetitive stories, my dramatic friends 🤣, IG reels that relate and everything that contributed...) 

After all though 2025 was short but the memories I have of it are unending and all thanks to God!


Found a local church where I connect and serve.

I discovered one of my passions and took a step towards achieving it (Psychological Counseling)

I visited places that I always wanted to visit.

I had quality time with my friends and it's among the best things that happened to me last year. 

I went to movies, drawing, cut my hair😂 (I've always wished to do them as a grown up)

I went karting

Went to play Billiards with my sister

High school mates reunion.

Attended my friend's weddings

Graduated my Bachelor's degree

Safe space with my family 

Above all, I thank the Lord for his protection towards me, my family, friends, church and the country at large.

Lord God, I'm grateful for the year ahead, Looking forward to fulfilling your purpose concerning my life!

Everything happens for me not to me!

This one will sound more like a song, a poem or an anonymous letter but you'll have to flow with it...   What they did to me, I'm doing the same to others... it's not like I'm intentional but somehow I find myself in the same spot... Leaving isn't what hurt me,  either way it could have failed but at least you could have said bye... Could have said why it couldn't work... I would have understood... I wasn't that desperate or unreasonable to hold you back when you wanted to go... but at least you should have said why it couldn't work. I really would have understood and let you go in peace and harmony. Maybe the reason I still hold on to you is the hope that you didn't leave completely... Maybe you're working on something once it's done you'll be back... I keep holding on some of our memories hoping one day you'll be back but still no glimpse of you... Now I understand why people who never said bye to their loved ones who are dead still...

The Journey with the Holy Spirit Part 2

  I have been walking with the Lord but for real everyday is a new lesson. So, there's this day I was living my day as usual and out of the blue I had a nudge in my spirit to pray for someone close to me. By that time I had that nudge, she was in an exam but I blushed it off and didn't care about it. Here is the thing that happened... I  heard the nudge, I thought of her specifically but I didn't do anything about it. (And the Holy Spirit has already communicated) So, later I came to learn that she had failed the exam on the last phase of the exam (By the time I heard the nudge, she was around the final phase of the exam) and hearing her side of story it was kind of unfair how she failed because basing what she did/how she responded she was supposed to pass. I immediately connected all dots and realized that it was the Holy Spirit who prompted me to pray for her because the enemy had aimed to steal her victory. Then the enemy came back to me to pin the blame on me... I star...
